László Kadar was born in Budapest and began his career as a director of photography for feature films. He later established his own production company, Hamburg-based László Kadar Films, and built a successful career as a commercial director. He has earned particular acclaim for his automotive work, having worked throughout Europe, the United States and Asia on campaigns for many of the world’s top car brands. He has won more than two dozen awards at international advertising competitions including Cannes, London International Advertising Awards, New York Film Festivals, Die Klappe Awards, Eurobest, Art Directors Club (ADC), Montreux Annual International Advertising Awards and Clios.
